The global ubiquity of the Internet has opened new worlds of opportunity for merchants. More merchants are beginning to explore international expansion as U.S. consumer markets mature and as global transactions are now facilitated more easily. Nevertheless, the world of international commerce and payments is extremely complicated with numerous laws and payment types across international borders.

Litle’s platform provides international payments support for Visa, MasterCard and American Express. The platform offers two types of international processing.

Foreign Currency

Foreign currency transactions are those where the purchase and settlement currencies are different.  Litle supports any of the 200+ purchase currencies supported by Visa and MasterCard when settlement is in U.S. dollars.

Multi-Currency

Multi-currency transactions are those where the settlement currency is not U.S. dollars. For Visa and MasterCard, Litle supports settlement in Australian Dollars (AUD), Canadian Dollars (CAD), British Pound Sterling (GBP), Euros (EUR), Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and Japanese Yen (JPY). We also offer multi-currency transaction processing for any American Express supported currency.
